IDR is seeking an ETL Developer to join one of our top enterprise clients. This is a great opportunity to support a high-impact data initiative by developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage in a cloud-based environment.
Position Overview / Responsibilities for the ETL Developer:Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and developers to support enterprise data integration efforts
Ensure accuracy and completeness of large-scale data loads, supporting compliance and reporting needs
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex DataStage jobs for performance and reliability
Perform code reviews, documentation, and version control for all ETL development
Support migration of ETL processes into a cloud-based data platform
Work with relational databases (e.g., DB2) and contribute to the improvement of data quality standards
Contribute to performance tuning, automation, and continuous integration efforts across the ETL pipeline
3–5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
Experience with DB2 or similar relational databases in enterprise environments
Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale ETL workflows
Familiarity with healthcare or compliance-based data processing (e.g., CMS, Medicaid, or T-MSIS) is a plus
Solid scripting and data manipulation experience (SQL, Unix shell, etc.)
Strong communication and documentation skills to support collaboration and reporting
