IDR is seeking an ETL Developer to join one of our top enterprise clients. This is a great opportunity to support a high-impact data initiative by developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage in a cloud-based environment.

Position Overview / Responsibilities for the ETL Developer:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage

  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and developers to support enterprise data integration efforts

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of large-scale data loads, supporting compliance and reporting needs

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex DataStage jobs for performance and reliability

  • Perform code reviews, documentation, and version control for all ETL development

  • Support migration of ETL processes into a cloud-based data platform

  • Work with relational databases (e.g., DB2) and contribute to the improvement of data quality standards

  • Contribute to performance tuning, automation, and continuous integration efforts across the ETL pipeline

Required Skills for ETL Developer:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices

  • Experience with DB2 or similar relational databases in enterprise environments

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale ETL workflows

  • Familiarity with healthcare or compliance-based data processing (e.g., CMS, Medicaid, or T-MSIS) is a plus

  • Solid scripting and data manipulation experience (SQL, Unix shell, etc.)

  • Strong communication and documentation skills to support collaboration and reporting
