**This position is Hybrid in Alpharetta, GA**
Position Overview for the Contracting Specialist:
Review new broker portal appointment applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with specific policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal regulations.
Prepare, distribute, and assess administrative processing documents and related reports for producers.
Manage the submission, updates, and maintenance of producer appointments, terminations, and background checks. Re-credential and reconcile renewal appointments by verifying agents' demographic and licensing information.
Update and maintain producer demographic details within the broker portal and appointment software.
Credential licensed agents connected with enterprise insurance partners (e.g., affiliations, medical, etc.) and internal sales teams.
Required Skills for the Contracting Specialist
1+ year of experience working with Credentialing Contracts
Experience in the healthcare or dental insurance industry
HS Diploma
