**This position is Hybrid in Alpharetta, GA**

Position Overview for the Contracting Specialist:

• Review new broker portal appointment applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with specific policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal regulations.
• Prepare, distribute, and assess administrative processing documents and related reports for producers.
• Manage the submission, updates, and maintenance of producer appointments, terminations, and background checks. Re-credential and reconcile renewal appointments by verifying agents' demographic and licensing information.
• Update and maintain producer demographic details within the broker portal and appointment software.
• Credential licensed agents connected with enterprise insurance partners (e.g., affiliations, medical, etc.) and internal sales teams.            

Required Skills for the Contracting Specialist 

• 1+ year of experience working with Credentialing Contracts 
• Experience in the healthcare or dental insurance industry 
• HS Diploma
