Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Implementation: Apply MBSE principles to define system functions, develop functional and performance requirements, and create architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) in Cameo.
Systems Analysis and Optimization: Conduct trade studies and comparative performance assessments to analyze military systems and broader system-of-systems architectures, informing customer investment decisions and optimizing IT infrastructure and business operations.
Mission Thread Analysis and Verification Planning: Analyze MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases, supporting system-level verification planning to ensure systems meet functional and performance criteria.
Compliance and Security Frameworks: Develop methods for compliance architecture, including data storage, metadata management, and change control, ensuring security and alignment with organizational goals.
Cameo and MBSE Expertise: 1-3+ years of experience in system engineering using Cameo with strong proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and descriptive modeling for system engineering solutions.
DoDAF and Systems Modeling Knowledge: Hands-on experience with DoDAF and related frameworks, with a solid understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and its applications in creating technical and graphical system representations.
Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to apply system engineering principles in modeling, simulation, and architectural analysis using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or AFSIM.
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance, as this role requires working on classified systems and architectures. TS only clearance will not meet requirements.
