Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Marketing Director:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for both physical and digital platforms
Work directly on artist music marketing initiatives, keeping up with trends in social media within music and marketing
Collaborate with artist managers, estates, and cross-functional internal teams
Synthesize fan data, CRM insights, and market trends to shape strategy and creative execution
This is a 3-month contract with potential for hire
Required Skills for Senior Marketing Director:
5-8+ years of experience in music, entertainment, or brand marketing with a proven record of strategic, audience-first thinking
Deep understanding of catalog music and the cultural, emotional, and commercial power it holds
Experience in building campaigns that appeal to both nostalgic fans and modern audiences
Proven success developing and launching creative content, digital campaigns, physical products, and fan activations
Strong knowledge of digital and social platforms, DSP ecosystems, and creator/influencer landscapes
Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
Collaborative, imaginative, and strategic mindset with a passion for music storytelling
