BigID Implementation Specialist 
  • Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
  • Location: Jacksonville, FL
  • C2C Pay Rate: $65.00
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure BigID solutions to support privacy and compliance use cases, including DSAR, data retention, and remediation.
  • Perform in-depth data discovery and classification to identify sensitive data (PII, PHI, PCI) across enterprise environments.
  • Define scanning profiles, schedule scans, and configure data sources for profiling and classification.
  • Analyze upstream/downstream data dependencies and support data refresh processes between production and non-production environments.
  • Plan and manage implementation engagements, including deployment and product configuration to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand technical requirements aligned with business objectives.
  • Integrate BigID with third-party tools such as Collibra, ServiceNow, and other enterprise applications.
  • Address and remediate findings from database audits and enhance data governance.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in customer-facing implementation or technical consulting roles.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis and complex SQL, with strong hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and cloud datastores.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with BigID, including modules for DSAR, data retention, PIA, RoPA, and remediation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ERDs, and database integrity models.
  • Familiarity with Privacy Portal App and ServiceNow integration for DSAR workflows.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise deployments.
  • Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex software systems and technical environments.
  • Proficiency with scripting or coding in Python or Java is a significant advantage.
