Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead Epic Applications Analyst:

• Serve as the technical leader for Epic applications, providing guidance to other analysts
• Take the lead in primary areas of work including projects, changes, and the highest point of break/fix escalation
• Responsible for configuring Epic applications, analyzing user requirements, completing technical documentation, and testing (internal and User Acceptance Testing) for the Epic Ambulatory space
• Work with procedural records, CPT codes, ICD codes, NDC medication data, EAP Procedures, Flowsheets, Care Plans, Patient Education (Healthwise), MAR, Specialty Profiles, Facility Preference List, SureScripts/Prescription

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years’ experience IT Healthcare applications
• 5+ years’ of experience in an analyst role supporting Epic's Electronic Health Record (EHR) - focused on Epic Ambulatory 
• Active Epic Ambulatory Certification
