Electrical Engineer III
Position Overview
This company is seeking a knowledgeable Electrical Engineer III to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will be responsible for working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams, understanding engineering principles and practices, and utilizing Computer Aided Engineering tools. Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical, AutoCAD, or others is preferred. Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles is required.
Required Skills for Electrical Engineer III
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
- Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)
- Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
