Delphi Support Engineer – Bilingual (Spanish)

Locations: Remote (Must work Mexico time zone hours) Schedule: Full-time – Mexico Time Zone (Mountain Time)

IDR is seeking a Delphi Support Engineer to join a high-performing internal technology team supporting legacy and modern application environments. This role provides hands-on support for Delphi-based applications and related database systems. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, and able to work regular business hours aligned to Mexico’s time zone.

Position Overview / Responsibilities:
  • Provide application support and technical troubleshooting for Delphi-based software

  • Diagnose and resolve database issues in MS SQL Server and Firebird

  • Support installations, upgrades, and configurations of internal platforms

  • Analyze logs and replicate bugs to identify root causes

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to escalate and resolve complex issues

  • Engage directly with end users and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation

  • Document technical solutions and contribute to support knowledge base

  • Participate in virtual meetings with global internal teams, including leadership stakeholders

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Delphi (Object Pascal)

  • Experience supporting or developing with MS SQL Server (2019 preferred)

  • Fluent in Spanish and English – able to support Spanish-speaking stakeholders

  • Comfortable working Mexico time zone (Mountain Time) schedule

  • Strong understanding of client-server architecture and Windows OS environments

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Firebird 4 and Report Builder

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)

  • Prior work in a technical support or customer-facing engineering role

  • Exposure to REST APIs, web services, and cross-platform integrations
