IT Support Specialist

IDR is seeking a dedicated and empathetic IT Support Specialist to join one of our top clients in the legal sector. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is quick to learn, and has a positive attitude towards training and development. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Support Specialist:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming IT requests and manage ticket triage
  • Design, develop, and implement end-user device solutions tailored to our clients' needs
  • Gather and document user system and software requirements, research and evaluate technology options, and prepare business cases for proposed solutions
  • Provide both first- and second-level technical support, resolving incidents and processing changes in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with all IT teams and end users to support effective, reliable, and secure end-user device solutions  

Required Skills for the IT Support Specialist:

  • 1+ years of experience in a help desk, support, legal assistant or similar role, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in desktop support roles in a Windows environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Audio Visual systems
  • Experience working with document management systems such as Laserfiche
  • Hands-on experience working with ticketing systems
  • Strong analytical skills and process improvement abilities
