IDR is seeking a Technical Support Engineer - Automation to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role involves providing advanced technical support for complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and networked systems within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Position Overview for the Technical Support Engineer - Automation:
Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel addressing complex system issues
Troubleshoot and debug hardware, software, and network-related problems in highly technical environments
Collaborate with design and software engineering teams to report bugs and reliability concerns
Support customer installation, training, and ongoing technical assistance
Interact directly with customers/users possessing technical backgrounds on sophisticated systems
Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer - Automation:
At least a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
2+ years' professional experience debugging JavaScript or Java code
Experience supporting customers and/or end-users from a technical standpoint, including reporting issues to engineering
Strong experience supporting network issues and handling OS administration
Experience supporting ServiceNow platforms
