Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP in month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and SQL for financial data analysis
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Required Skills for Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- CPA designation
- 4-6 years of related accounting experience
- 3-5 years of personnel management experience
- Proficiency in General Ledger systems (e.g. Great Plains, MS Dynamics 365)
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with Blackline or other similar close management tools
