Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Specialize in technical solutions, systems, networks, or storage

• Design, configure, test, and implement server systems, operating systems, and applications across multiple platforms

• Install, document, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)

• Allocate and maintain storage for operating systems, ensuring hardware and site configurations are optimized

• Handle escalations related to operational issues in production environments

• Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical challenges and improve solutions

• Conduct ongoing solution reviews and lifecycle management

• Maintain detailed documentation of production environment changes via change management systems

• Interpret architecture requirements and assist with design, product evaluation, and technology integration

Required Skills for Infrastructure Engineer:

• Knowledge of storage performance, SAN-based backup, load balancing, storage virtualization, and SAN zoning

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and situations and identify relevant factors

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executives

• Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse groups

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage workflow and prioritize tasks

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within teams

• Adaptability to handle fluctuating workloads, competing demands, and interruptions
