IDR is seeking a
Senior Azure Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of high-impact Microsoft Azure solutions for an organization in the healthcare industry, partnering closely with technical and business stakeholders. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring cloud architectures align to business goals and help with the migration to the cloud.
Position Overview for the Senior Azure Architect:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Azure solutions aligned to business and customer objectives.
- Provide hands-on Azure expertise and advisory services across project teams, including Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Consultants.
- Serve as an escalation point to diagnose and remediate complex technical issues raised by customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support project scoping, documentation, quality control checks, and delivery best practices across customer environments.
- Contribute to practice growth through vendor/product evaluations and participation in research & development initiatives.
Requirements for the Senior Azure Architect:
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-level Microsoft Azure implementations
- Expert-level experience deploying Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS with a strong understanding of platform capabilities and limitations
- Strong experience with Azure virtual machines and Azure cloud database services
- Automation and scripting proficiency (PowerShell, ARM, Terraform, Bicep, and/or VBScript)
- Infrastructure design experience including LAN/WAN, messaging, database technologies, and security solutions
