Technical Program Manager Terms: All Capgemini contracts are ongoing with a right to hire after 3 months. Conversion at 90 days is rare and pre-specified by Capgemini, but the right to hire remains in place. Target Pay Rate: $86/hr C2C Location: Freemont, CA Work schedule details: Remote but must work in PST time zone   Details: Seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our AI Foundation, including Lam’s webapp framework for GenAI-powered chatbots. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of our software application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and software project management, with the ability to wear multiple hats, including those of a project manager, product manager, and product owner. Key Responsibilities •Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the AI-powered chatbot project, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. •Agile Leadership: Implement and advocate for Agile best practices, guiding the team through Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives. •Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. •Product Management: Act as a product owner when necessary, defining product vision, roadmap, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer needs. •Team Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers. •Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. •Quality Assurance: Oversee testing phases, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables. •Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing process enhancements. Skills Requirements •Agile Expertise: Proven experience in leading Agile software development projects, with a deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks. •Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. •Technical Acumen: Background in software development or other technical areas. •Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. •Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges. •Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other relevant software. •Adaptability: Ability to wear multiple hats, including those of a product manager and business analyst, as needed. Education and Experience •Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. •Preferred: Master's degree in a relevant field. •Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management, with a focus on software development projects. Experience with AI and chatbot technologies is highly desirable.
