Position Overview for the Software Systems Validation Engineer: Our client is looking for a person who will design and execute validation strategies for embedded controllers in HVAC systems. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining test deliverables (test plans, automated/manual test cases, schedules, and reports), executing tests throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and ensuring system compliance with functional, performance, and reliability requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, debug hardware-software interactions, and enhance test automation to improve efficiency and coverage. Proficiency in Python, embedded systems, and tools like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers is essential. Join us to drive continuous improvement in validation processes and deliver innovative, energy-efficient solutions. Required Skills for the Software Systems Validation Engineer:
  • 8+ years of experience in system-level validation for embedded systems.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, RTOS, and firmware development.
  • Proficient in Python and test automation frameworks.
  •  Skilled in debugging hardware/software interfaces and resolving complex issues.
  • Familiarity with UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and BLE communication protocols.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
Nice to Have:
  • Validation experience in industries like HVAC, automotive, or aerospace.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust is a plus.
