Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Associate Credentialing Coordinator:

• Act as a credentialing specialist under the Whole Health Living department

• Verify provider credentials, including licenses, certifications, education, and work history

• Maintain accurate records by entering and updating provider information in credentialing systems, and tracking expiration dates

• Communicate effectively with providers and agencies to follow up for missing documents and coordinate with licensing boards and insurance payers

• Ensure compliance with regulations, keeping all credentialing files in line with standards (e.g., HIPAA, NCQA, The Joint Commission)

• Assist with payer enrollment and recredentialing, supporting provider enrollment with insurance plans and managing periodic recredentialing schedules

Required Skills for Associate Credentialing Coordinator:

• Proven experience in data entry

• Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative setting

• Familiarity with insurance plans or medical credentialing processes is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
