IDR is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you’ll support a large-scale public sector initiative by building and enhancing Salesforce functionality using modern development best practices. You’ll work alongside technical leads and a delivery team to develop reliable solutions that improve system performance, usability, and maintainability.

Position Overview for the Salesforce Developer:

• Develop, test, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and enhancements to meet project needs
• Build and support Apex (classes/triggers) and Lightning Web Components (LWC) within an established Salesforce architecture
• Create and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries and support data model-driven development
• Assist with automation (Flows, validation rules) and support integrations with external systems via APIs
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support

Requirements for the Salesforce Developer:

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex and Lightning)
• Experience building and maintaining Lightning Web Components (LWC) in real-world implementations
• Strong working knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data modeling fundamentals
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification and an active Trailblazer account
• Familiarity with common Salesforce development tools and practices (SFDX, VS Code, Git, deployments)
