IDR is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nevada. This role involves leading AI-driven product lifecycle management within an innovative engineering environment focused on AI-native solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and validate AI-generated artifacts throughout the development process.

Position Overview for the Technical Product Owner :

• Lead discovery and requirements gathering for assigned initiatives by collaborating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Translate business and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.
• Manage AI-assisted tools to generate and validate requirements artifacts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and business rule alignment.
• Maintain the product backlog, ensuring continuous refinement and prioritization of work items for new feature development and technical sustainability.
• Partner with engineering teams on complex integration decisions, technical feasibility assessments, and solution design.

Requirements for the Technical Product Owner :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on software development experience
• 3+ years of experience in technical product ownership, solutions analysis, or software engineering in an Agile environment
• Working knowledge of software development, architecture assessment, and evaluation of technical approaches
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational database design, data modeling, and web application architecture
• Demonstrated experience as a primary author of user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation
