IDR is seeking a Principal IT Architect, CPQ to join one of our top clients. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in enterprise architecture and CPQ solutions within manufacturing or configurable product environments.
Position Overview for the Principal IT Architect, CPQ:
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP CPQ (Callidus 2.0) solutions to optimize business operations.
Define and drive CPQ strategy, standards, and best practices aligned with overall business and IT goals.
Partner with stakeholders to streamline quote-to-cash processes across sales, manufacturing, and operations.
Oversee end-to-end CPQ implementations, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
Ensure seamless integration of CPQ with CRM and ERP systems using APIs and modern integration approaches.
Requirements for the Principal IT Architect, CPQ:
10+ years of experience designing and delivering CPQ solutions, with deep expertise in SAP CPQ (Callidus 2.0).
Proven experience operating at an Enterprise/Principal Architect level, owning architecture, strategy, and system design decisions.
Strong background in quote-to-cash processes, including pricing, configuration, and quoting workflows.
Demonstrated experience integrating CPQ platforms with CRM and ERP systems, including working with APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and asynchronous architectures.
Experience working in manufacturing or configurable product environments (e.g., industrial, automotive, electronics).
