IDR is seeking a Bookkeeper to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama. This role offers the chance to support a high-volume, fast-paced personal injury law firm in maintaining accurate financial records and managing daily bookkeeping functions. The company values dependability, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills in their team members.

Position Overview for the Bookkeeper :

  • Work directly with firm leadership in a busy law firm environment.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks Online.
  • Manage accounts payable, expense tracking, and trust/IOLTA accounts.
  • Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and overall financial operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all financial documentation and processes.

Requirements for the Bookkeeper :

  • QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED.
  • At least 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional office environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, word processing, and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and maintain confidentiality.
