Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer:
- Lead electrical scope for large capital projects in manufacturing environments.
- Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical (hands-on).
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs to support equipment installs, commissioning, and production.
- Support power distribution, cable tray, controls, and field commissioning activities.
- Modify OEM logic and implement safety PLC logic for equipment retrofits and upgrades.
- Engage in construction oversight and contractor management for a large-scale manufacturing expansion project.
Required Skills for Electrical Engineer:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in managing large capital projects with a focus on electrical scope.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming, with Siemens preferred.
- Experience with equipment installations, power distribution, and commissioning.
- Ability to modify OEM logic and implement safety PLC logic, especially for European equipment.
