Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Support Tech:

• Serve as the first line of support for client end-users, responding to technical issues via phone, email, and in person

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS systems

• Image, configure, and deploy devices including laptops (Windows/Mac), desktops, iPads, and other peripherals

• Monitor and manage ticket queues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution or escalation

• Provide basic printer and mobile device support, manage password resets, and assist with account access issues

Required Skills for Desktop Support Tech:

• 6 months to 1 year of IT support/help desk experience (internships and freelance work welcome)

• Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple issues

• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
