IDR is seeking a Network Security Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting network security operations within a government agency's infrastructure, focusing on vulnerability management, scanning solutions, and incident response activities.

Position Overview for the Network Security Analyst:

• Support the operation and management of the agency’s Tenable scanning solution.
• Configure and perform credentialed and uncredentialed scans to identify vulnerabilities.
• Identify and notify about rogue devices and security misconfigurations.
• Provide guidance to improve patching and vulnerability mitigation processes.
• Administer network security tools and coordinate with operational teams.

Requirements for the Network Security Analyst:

• Deployment and configuration of network security monitoring and incident response tools (EDR, Scanners, SIEM, Netflow, etc).
• Administration of network security monitoring and incident response tools (EDR, Scanners, SIEM, Netflow, etc).
• Participation and experience in intrusion detection and incident response activities.
• Effective, professional business communication and reporting.
• Experience supporting vulnerability scans, configuration management, and security device administration.
