Overview IDR is seeking a Senior Access Management Engineer with deep, hands-on Cisco Duo expertise to lead and deliver client-facing IAM/MFA engagements with our leading Cyber Security Consultant client. You will own Duo work from discovery and design through implementation, migration, and handoff. An immediate need includes supporting a global customer migration from Okta to Duo. This is a fully remote, long term opportunity.  What You’ll Do

• Lead hands-on architecture, design, and implementation of Cisco Duo (MFA / Access Management).
• Configure and deploy Duo MFA policies, enrollment, and rollout strategies.
• Deploy and configure Duo Authentication Proxy.
• Implement SSO/federation integrations (SAML 2.0 / OIDC).
• Configure Duo Device Trust / Trusted Endpoints.
• Integrate Duo with Active Directory/LDAP/RADIUS and enterprise applications/infrastructure.
• Execute migrations between Duo and other identity platforms (especially Okta ? Duo).
• Build API integrations and automation (Admin API / Auth API).
• Run client discovery sessions/workshops; produce runbooks and implementation documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, integration, and policy issues.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience.
• Deep, hands-on Cisco Duo Security experience (implementation, not just administration).
• Experience with Duo Authentication Proxy and enterprise integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAML/OAuth2/OIDC and RADIUS.
• Experience integrating with AD/LDAP and troubleshooting authentication flows.
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash).
• Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort leading technical discovery.

Preferred

• Okta-to-Duo migration experience (or Duo migrations involving Entra ID/Ping).
• Experience with Ping (PingFederate/PingOne/PingAccess) and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE).
• Infrastructure automation/IaC exposure (Terraform/Ansible).
• Cybersecurity consulting / professional services background.
• Relevant certifications (Duo, Okta, Ping, CISSP, etc.).
