IDR is seeking a Cloud Hosting Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in systems administration and cloud infrastructure within a modern enterprise setting. The company specializes in innovative technology solutions and is looking for a senior-level engineer to help design and optimize scalable, secure hosting environments across cloud platforms.

Position Overview for the Cloud Hosting Engineer:

• Design, implement, and support cloud-based hosting environments, primarily within AWS.
• Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows server environments.
• Configure and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, IP networking, and IPsec.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure reliability and performance.

Requirements for the Cloud Hosting Engineer:

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) and Windows Administration.
• Experience with AWS Infrastructure (compute, networking, storage).
• Knowledge of network firewalls and IP networking (TCP/IP, IPsec).
• Proficiency with automation tools: Ansible, Bash, PowerShell.
• Proven experience operating in a senior systems administrator capacity.
