Position Overview/Responsibilities for the OpenShift Engineer:
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters, with a focus on on-premise environments.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift and related tools, such as GitLab CI.
- Develop automation scripts for cluster provisioning and maintenance using tools like Ansible and Helm.
- Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to support containerized workloads and microservices.
Required Skills for OpenShift Engineer:
- Extensive hands-on experience with OpenShift OCP (v4.12+ preferred) and VMware vSphere.
- Proven track record as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Passion for automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
