"If things are under control, you are not going fast enough" Mario Andretti
When I was a child I wanted to be an Architect, I created elaborate designs and really loved creating amazing things. I loved art, and being creative was such a huge part of my life. I also, was very good at math. A very weird combination. Creating something that solved a problem was ideally what I loved so much about it.
As I got a little older, I realized how much of an influencer I was, but not the intentional kind. I became thirsty to understand and learn about people. One could say I was popular, but I truly believe that when you step back and let others tell you about them you in turn will gain their friendship and trust. You learn what its like to be in their shoes, which only makes it easier to put yourself in them.
Fast forward to me today. I spent my early years in sales/marketing capacities before I made the leap into recruiting! The education I received combined with the change in perspective have really helped me transcend into such a better business person. Risk taking and trial and error were what it was all about. Building a brand from nothing, learning how to gain trust and respect, developing and implementing marketing strategies as a small business, and looking at things from an operational perspective have all played a part in making me, me.
I am a match-maker of sorts. .
I try to live by the mantra of one of my ultimate legendary football greats - Woody Hayes, as he always said...
"You can't pay it backward, so might as well pay it forwar
