Jefferey was very helpful at guiding me through all the steps from presenting the opportunity, gauging my interest, through interviews, and the hiring and onboarding process. It was a very smooth experience and I would use Jefferey again in a job search or when looking to fill positions as a hiring manager.
Krissa is just great. Easily the best recruiter I've worked with (and I've worked with a lot over the last 10+ years). I've already referred colleagues to her!
Krissa is, BY FAR, the best recruiter I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And "with" in that statement has much deeper meaning in the context of our relationship. Most recruiters are looking for quick wins (easy placements with their client companies who are a bad fit for their candidates 90% of the time). My relationship with Krissa was completely different, however. It was just that -- a relationship. She took the time to get to know me as a person, as a professional, and understand my career goals, as well as what was motivating me to consider making an employer change.
Once she had a good sense of who I am through conversation, she took time to curate a list of opportunities that she believed would be good matches for me, based on her professional judgement (which is ON POINT by the way). She lined me up with interviews at several companies and all of the interviews were enjoyable. Honestly, I could've seen myself working at every one of the companies she had me interview for, which is a very fortunate position to be in as a candidate.
Even when I had made it through the final round with one company and was excited about the opportunity, she was adamant that I go through the process with one other company in particular because she felt that it would be a great fit for me. As much as I REALLY wanted the interview process to be over (because it's exhausting), I trusted her judgement and she was 100% right. ... I fell in love with this other company and every single person I met with (and there were a lot of people I met with throughout their interview process). I ended up being hired by this company and can say, without doubt, that Krissa made it her mission to get me a job at a company that values me and one that I would love working for. And as a software engineer where people are constantly dangling carrots in front of your face, I can't tell you how much I appreciate her honesty, skill, and intuition. I am super excited about my new company and it's all thanks to Krissa because she made it possible.
A few other things about Krissa that I need to mention are her ability to maintain a positive attitude even in the face of adversity, her compassion, and her willingness to listen. I have a tendency of overanalyzing things and will sometimes get ahead of myself. Krissa has this crazy ability to help people temper their emotions and manage their expectations. I can't tell you how many times I contacted her because I was getting burned out with the interview process and just wanted it to end. But she always managed to find a way to keep me motivated and helped me to stay focused, and believe that the right opportunity for me is the one that will eventually work out.
In short, Krissa is a rockstar and I would never consider working with another recruiter again. Also, it's really nice to know that HIRECLOUT as a company supports their recruiters and enables them to handle the recruiting process the right way -- helping candidates find the right opportunities, and helping client companies find the right candidates.
