Helpmates is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Account Specialist with a strong background in order processing for the aerospace industry. This role involves creating orders for the shop floor, updating portal systems, communicating with engineers on quotes, and requesting quotes.
Pay: $30 – $35/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Buena Park
Job Duties:
Responsible for tracking and fulfillment of “RP” (Repeat Production) quote opportunities. This includes expediting, estimating, outside processing quotes, lead-times, and run rates from the foundry and the machine shop. (Goal: 48 hour quote from time RFQ is received)
Coordinates successful processes and procedures as well as sales strategies with the inside team to support
monthly and annual bookings goals.
Personally handles key accounts to assure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for establishing culture, policies and procedures to foster customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Responsible for response and resolution to customer complaints.
Responsible for building customer relationships within the customer service department to increase customer retention and provide opportunities for value added selling and increased market share.
Responsible for developing procedures and tracking workload to assure that all orders are entered promptly and accurately. (Goal: 48 hours from receipt)
Track and report weekly, the status of all open “RP” RFQ’s to the Sales Manager /Vice President.
Provide monthly forecast of “RP” bookings based upon blanket order patterns of key accounts.
Advise Sales Manager / President if and when assistance may be required to service customers in a timely
manner.
Provide information to support development of and implement pricing strategies as directed by the Sales
Manager / President
Understand the POC (Point of Control) production schedule and quote accordingly (price & lead-time)
Attend necessary management, sales, production, DSP’s, (Divisional Strategic Plan) and ISO meetings
Support the Annual Profit Plan and forecast process on an as needed basis
Understand and improve all documented procedures relating to the sales department along with the
Purchasing department
Working knowledge of contracts terms and conditions
Works with Sales Manager / Vice President on special projects or new responsibilities as required
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Graduate, Four year college degree preferred
Five years sales / customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
