Helpmates is looking for a Key Account Associate (KAA) to support the Key Account Manager (KAM) in managing day-to-day operations for key clients. This role plays a vital part in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring internal coordination, and delivering high-quality service to key accounts. Location: Buena Park, CA 90620 Pay Range: $75,000 – $100,000 (Depending on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Duties:  Customer Support:
  • Act as a point of contact for key accounts, ensuring prompt responses to Customer queries
  • and requests.
  • Assist in addressing customer concerns and issues, escalating when necessary to the KAM.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to Customers about product deliveries, services, and project statuses.
Account Management Support:
  • Gather intel on customers’ business and market on key current and future issues or opportunities. Gain an understanding of product platforms, needs and requirements. Feed intel to the KAM.
  • Proactively track, monitor and follow up on Customer orders, contracts, and project progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure ADC has a minimal 4–6-month order visibility/backlog from customer. Proactively reach out to customers for missing orders.
  • Appropriately escalate price increases, accurately enter customer orders with accurate pricing. Update ERP pricing tables.
  • Help the KAM in the development and execution of account strategies and plans.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and reports for Customer meetings.
Internal Coordination:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering and operations, to ensure
  • Customer requirements are being met.
  • Support the KAM in coordinating the delivery of services and products to Customers.
  • Ensure that account-related documents and information are properly stored and updated.
  • Sales & Business Development Support:
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling by supporting the KAM in analyzing Customer needs.
  • Maintain and update customer profiles, ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-
  • date.
  • Help with account renewals and follow-up on contracts.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales activity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with tracking KPIs, order intake targets, and other metrics related to key accounts.
  • Help the KAM with the preparation of business reviews and presentations for internal and customers meetings 
  • Ad hoc analytical support.
  • Assist in resolving any Customer issues related to product or service delivery.
  • Help maintain a proactive approach in identifying potential issues or risks and work to resolve them before they escalate.
Requirements:
  • Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account relationship support.
  • Proficient in ERP system and reporting tools (ADC currently uses Syteline) Become the subject
  • matter expert on customer related ERP modules.
  • Expert level competency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering, operations, & sales processes
  • Strong communication skills,  both written and verbal, must have a strong business acumen to communicate with customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and Customers simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and Customers.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales and account management processes.
  • Adaptable and willingness to learn.
