Helpmates is looking for a quality inspector willing to work on Saturdays for overtime! You will be required to interview. If you're interested in this great opportunity come and apply NOW!
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour - $25.00 per hour
Start Time: M- F (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) - Overtime 2 hours each day
Sat. (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) - As needed
Duties:
Approves in-process production by verifying specifications through visual and measurement inspections.
Adheres to all relevant Quality Management Systems standards and document requirements.
Approves finished products by confirming their specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and managing re-work if necessary.
Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Provides feedback to manufacturing personnel on process improvements and quality control measures.
Promotes a quality-focused mindset within the team to maintain high performance and throughput.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required.
Familiarity with precision measuring equipment, calibration of measuring instruments, good manufacturing practices, engineering drawings, and customer specifications/requirements.
Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a QC Inspector Technician in the electronics and interconnect industries.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Organized, self-directed, and thorough with attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks daily.
Ability to complete all assigned tasks and daily routines independently with minimal supervision.
Experience using SmartScope, micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, multimeter testers, and other inspection tools for in-process and final inspection of precision machined components and finished parts.
Proficient in creating FAI and final inspection reports using computer inspection software.
Accurate and thorough documentation of inspection results, including deviations and non-conformities.
Basic knowledge of IPC Standards and IPC certification is highly preferred.
