Helpmates is looking for a Packaging Technician with experience. All candidates must present an updated resume and are willing to interview in person.  This is a temporary job for 6 months.  The Packaging Technician 1 produces products and maintains facility cleanliness using different processes and equipment, following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Schedule: 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm  Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 DUTIES 
  • Operates equipment following established procedures.
  • Reports equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Cleans and assembles equipment and work areas as per guidelines.
  • Performs daily tasks to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Tracks metrics, output, and downtime using designated tools.
  • Inspects product quality during manufacturing.
  • Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for gowning and hygiene.
  • Communicates product quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation practices.
  • Adheres to safety protocols during equipment setup and cleaning.
  • Uses necessary personal protective equipment during work.
  • Maintains clean and organized work areas and equipment.
  • Completes training tasks on schedule.
  • Conducts additional facility cleaning as required.
  • Assists in cross-training and supports other departments.
  • Follows timekeeping and rest period policies.
  • Supports product destruction activities.
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed.
