Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of production by supervising employees and organizing workflows. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining productivity and quality while optimizing costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them clearly to employees.
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules to meet production targets.
  • Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment and schedule regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
  • Monitor production output to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance and progress to management.
  • Identify inefficiencies in production processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train new employees on the safe use of machinery and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities to effectively manage production teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and employee management.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to achieving production targets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address operational challenges as they arise.
  • High School Diploma required; a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be advantageous.
