In this role, you'll be setting up extrusion machines, maintaining product quality, collecting samples for quality control, labeling, and packing finished products.

 

Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Pay: $22.50 - $23.00/hr. (DOE) Schedules Available:

Schedule 2B     3pm-11:30pm    OFF Sun/Mon   Schedule 2C     3pm-11:30pm    OFF Wed/Thu    Schedule 2D     3pm-11:30pm    OFF Tue/Wed       What You’ll Do:

As a Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up extrusion machines based on production orders.
• Checking operating controls and ensuring equipment safety prior to use.
• Monitoring material quality for defects and adjusting machine parameters as needed.
• Collecting samples for quality control testing.
• Labeling and packing finished products according to work order instructions.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Following OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Wearing a respirator as required during machine setup.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience with a fast-paced environment 
• 5 + years experience in setting up machinery 
• A high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
