Job Title: Appraisal Coordinator (Immediate Need) Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a detail oriented, organized Appraisal Coordinator for a 6-week contract opportunity supporting a well-known Orange County based mortgage lender.  Appraisal Coordinator Key Responsibilities: 

• Triage new appraisal assignments to ensure standards are met and customer request is clear
• Track and provide detailed updates on outstanding appraisal orders 
• Problem-solve complex orders to ensure our reports anticipate and meet our needs
• Distribute assignments to Select Vendors based on category, complexity, and needs
• Assist Vendors in assignment details 
• Perform quality check and data field entry with final reports 
• Manage all tasks and actions necessary to complete a successful appraisal assignment
• Collaborate with the sales and underwriting team to problem solve and actively manage work in progress 
• Respond appropriately and professionally to customers both internally and externally 

Appraisal Coordinator Skills and Experience:  

•  High School or equivalent diploma required 
• 1-2 years experience in a mortgage related environment 
• Working knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processes
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite 
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and problem solve in a fast-paced  environment 
• Ability to articulate issues, problem solve and analyze with creative and outside of the box thinking 
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external partners; ability to convey findings in a concise and comprehensive manner 
• Effective organization and time management skills 
• Capability to build trusting relationships internally and externally and elicit confidence by  demonstrating reliability  
• Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a cooperative and diverse  environment 
• Capacity to analyze processes, support change and think operationally and strategically to achieve business goals
