Job Title: Molding Technician

Molding Technician Pay Rate: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

MoldingTechnician Schedule: 7am- 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Molding Technician Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Molding Technician for a quick hire opportunity with our client, a local manufacturer in Orange County! The Molding Technicians are responsible for sanding, priming, painting on both 3D printed parts and urethane castings, mixing material batches, visual inspection of master patterns, and ensuring all equipment is kept clean and in good condition.

Molding Technician job requirements:

• Previous work in auto body processes and/or experience in bondo and finishing (preferred).

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment and/or experience with urethane casting process (i.e. casting, sanding, priming parts) (preferred).

• Ability to read and comprehend procedures.

• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

• Eager to learn new skills and manufacturing processes.

• Bilingual (Spanish), but not required.

• Must be attentive and able to learn detailed processes.

• Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.

• Work independently with minimum supervision.

• Maintain a high degree of safety awareness.

• Prepping parts for paint, includes cleaning, bondo, and sanding.

• Ability to work safely around chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to work with hands for long periods of time.

• Ability to work and perform tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
