So far Beverly has been a great help in searching for a job. She has been up to date when it comes to my goals and what type of work I am looking for. Her phone etiquette is top notch and love when we interact.
My experience with Beverly has been amazing so far. She definitely took the time out to contact me with an hiring company and it was exceptionally fast.
I just signed up/applied for a job I could do. Whether I get the job apparently has a lot to do with my looks and personality, as opposed to my ability to do the job. Beverly has nothing to do with that. The job was not overly demanding, but the employer typically wants young people doing repetitious jobs, and this would be a repititious job. If Beverly would like to know about my job skills, I have many job skills, and I am very skilled in all areas I claim a "job skills," including job skills that do not have much to do with assembly, but office work. I am attending a law school currently -- not an ABA law school, just an online law school, but I like it and I am becoming more knowledgeable about law (contracts, torts, etc.) every day. I am also educated in business, as I took a LOT of business courses in college, and I even taught business as a sort of "elective teacher" at an Arizona high school. I know the business process very, very well. I am not an expert bookkeper however, but I have done bookkeping in the past -- the employer shows me what to do and I do it. I had a training class with QuickBooks, but never had a job using QuickBooks. Was not all that complicated to use, and if an employer would be willing to train, I would love a job like that. I have superior word processing and communication skills too. I am willing to offer to Beverly OR ANY recruiter at Helpmates the opportunity to find me a job at a low training wage (I think I can be hired as an intern at $14/hr.? Correct me if I am wrong.) I will work at such a low minmum wage or actual minimum wage for the first year of employment. Betweeen the upcharge for the recruiting agency's fee and what LOW wage I will accept (as I already mentioned) there might be quite a big profit margin there for the Helpmates recruiter (maybe Beverly) that finds me a job. For example, if you find an employer that pays $25/hr. to the employee, and pays Helpmates $5/hr. as a fee, that's $30/hr. and if I'm working at minimum wage or a lower "intern" wage for a year, well, Helpmates makes a good chunk of money off of me for the year -- and employers can really benefit from havint me around. I have a little skin cancer on my face that shows, but not so hideous that the employer will not want someone as hardworking and helpful (dare I say reasonably intellient and knowledgeable) around to help out in any way needed in a business office, or a production floor, even in a law office. I have done a 6-month internship in a law office, and handled legal matters in state and federal court -- not recently, but the law just hasn't changed all that much, and any changes, I can find out about them in just minutes. So how about finding me someplace to work? And no matter how demanding the job, I will take minimum wage, and you can pocket anything above minimum wage, for the first year of my employment. (Yes, I need a job.)
