What You’ll Do

As a Quality Control Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to carry out precise inspections.
• Utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators to perform thorough assessments.
• Conducting visual and dimensional inspections on incoming aviation parts to verify quality.
• Performing receiving and first article inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Preparing detailed inspection reports and documenting any nonconformances for analysis.
• Identifying root causes of discrepancies and participating in corrective actions.
• Reviewing supplier certifications to confirm adherence to requirements.
• Collecting and analyzing inspection data to support quality metrics and improvements.
• Understanding and applying tolerances, geometric, and positional requirements in inspections.
• Traveling as needed to support supplier audits and inspection programs.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• A High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree is a plus.
• Experience or familiarity with quality control in manufacturing or aerospace, especially with raw materials, electrical components, machined parts, crush core panels, or injection molded products.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent measurement skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications confidently.
• A proactive attitude and good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform inspections in a fast-paced environment.
