Job Title: Purchasing Administrator

Pay: $20.50 - $25 per hour Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Start Date: ASAP

In this vital role, you'll support the Purchasing Department by managing documentation, preparing RFQ bids, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to keep production on track and ensure operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting RFQ bids, maintaining detailed data packages for procurement activities, and updating reports and suppliers on order statuses. You will foster effective communication and positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams to promote courtesy, fairness, and professionalism. Additionally, you'll collaborate with planners to monitor parts scheduling, ensuring inventory levels meet production demands while adhering to stock buffers. Your duties also include reviewing non-conformance reports, managing and updating quality documentation and certifications, and supporting engineering change updates with suppliers. You will assist with cross-departmental communications among Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to facilitate seamless operations.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably within the aerospace industry. Strong proficiency in computer applications, especially intermediate skills in Excel and the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook), is essential. You should be able to work effectively under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks efficiently, and thrive both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus.

Location & Schedule:

This is an office-based position within a manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, CA, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
