Job Title: 1st Shift Hand Packaging Operator

Pay: $22 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Hand Packaging Operator, you will be essential in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and safety of our pharmaceutical products through meticulous packaging processes. Collaborating closely with the production team, you will help maintain operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.

What You’ll Do:

As a 1st Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Completing gowning and sanitation procedures essential for clean room entry and exit.
• Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure smooth workflow.
• Inspecting labels and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Manually packaging and labeling products when automated lines are unavailable, ensuring precision.
• Documenting packaging activities accurately in line with GMP, SOP, and ISO regulations.
• Properly handling and disposing of hazardous waste generated during packaging processes.
• Supporting team members with various manufacturing tasks to meet production goals.
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven experience working in a clean room environment, particularly in packaging.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written—to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site position in Irvine, CA, with first shift hours: Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
