Job Title: Temporary Recruiter

Pay: $24.00 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 20-25 hours per week Start Date: ASAP

As a Temporary Recruiter, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruiting efforts, manage multiple requisitions, and ensure a positive candidate experience. You’ll play a vital role in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, all while adhering to employment laws and employer policies.

What You'll Do

As a Temporary Recruiter, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with hiring managers throughout the full talent acquisition cycle, providing guidance on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes
• Creating or updating job descriptions and developing competitive job offers based on candidate experience and market data
• Sourcing, screening, and evaluating qualified candidates through various recruiting channels
• Scheduling and conducting phone screens and in-person interviews, assessing candidates against role requirements
• Presenting top candidates to hiring managers, providing feedback, and making hiring recommendations
• Preparing and extending employment offers, coordinating new hire orientation
• Maintaining and updating the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate candidate records and requisition statuses
• Managing pre-employment processes including background checks, DOJ clearances, TB testing, and other documentation
• Developing sourcing strategies and establishing partnerships to attract qualified candidates
• Evaluating recruiting methods and sourcing channels to optimize strategies and vendor relationships
• Ensuring compliance with all employment laws and company policies

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Proven success recruiting for a variety of roles in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple openings
• Knowledge of California employment laws and hiring best practices (preferred)
• A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
