What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Inspecting raw materials, work-in-progress, labels, and finished goods to identify defects or nonconformance issues.
• Using measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, rulers, and gauges to ensure accurate inspections according to established standards.
• Reviewing manufacturing work orders and verifying the accuracy and completeness of inspection data.
• Performing mathematical calculations to support inspection and in-process monitoring activities.
• Ensuring all inspections and product inspections comply with company policies, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Accurately documenting inspection results and maintaining detailed, compliant records.
• Collaborating effectively with production teams to communicate quality concerns and improvements.
• Adhering to ISO 13485, 17025, and other relevant standards to uphold quality and compliance.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 4 to 5 years of experience in a quality control environment, preferably within medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace industries.
• Strong proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and rulers.
• Solid understanding of inspection procedures, quality standards, and documentation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and sketches.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report findings clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP and E-QMS systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Location & Schedule

This on-site position is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and offers a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
