As a Wire Harness Assembly Technician, you'll contribute to the production of high-quality wire harnesses crucial to complex systems. You'll work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure assemblies meet rigorous standards—helping to push the boundaries of technological innovation every day.

What You'll Do

As a Wire Harness Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Building first-piece and prototype wire harnesses from detailed drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
  • Performing soldering, crimping, stripping, and routing of wires with precision and care.
  • Assembling components and sub-assemblies for testing, evaluation, and final product readiness.
  • Ensuring all work complies with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards through inspections and self-verification.
  • Setting up workstations, verifying parts, and managing materials to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supporting troubleshooting and resolving design or documentation issues.
  • Assisting in updating work instructions and documentation to improve efficiency.
  • Mentoring less experienced team members and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality and productivity.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1-5 years of hands-on experience in wire harness assembly or related manufacturing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, wire preparation, and the use of hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds comfortably.
  • A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Physical dexterity to perform active, repetitive tasks in a hands-on environment.
