Job Title: Account Clerk II (Temporary)

Pay: $28.36 per hour Hours: 7:00am-5:30pm Monday thru Thursday  with a half-hour lunch (4/10 schedule with Fridays off) Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Do:

As an Account Clerk II, you will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, utility bill management, and maintaining accurate records within a centralized accounting system. You will prepare and verify ledger entries, open and close accounts, generate billings, process payments, and communicate billing policies clearly to customers. Resolving inquiries and handling complaints with professionalism will also be key responsibilities. Your role will help ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF. Strong customer service skills, basic accounting knowledge, and experience with MS Word are essential. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also important.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Pico Rivera, CA, with hours starting at 7:30 AM and ending at 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday. No work on Fridays.  This is a temporary role going for about 3+ months.
