We seek a dependable individual to join our team at our client's location, situated in Downtown LA. The organization is a non-profit employee association offering specialized programs to support both employees and management. This position offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with parking provided.
DUTIES
• Provide courteous, professional customer service while answering telephones and assisting members
• Sell tickets and merchandise, balance cash, receipts and deposits
• Serve as a committee liaison, schedule and attend meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes
• Occasional public speaking in small forums
• Filing, data entry, and performing other clerical functions as necessary
• Infrequent local area travel may be required
REQUIREMENTS
• Dedicated, reliable
• Flexible team player
• Able to communicate verbally in a clear, concise, and confident manner; excellent inter-personal verbal communication skills and techniques with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
• Good written communication skills, and ability to read and understand written material
• Organization skills and attention to detail
• Word processing and Microsoft Office experience
• Some light lifting of 30-40 lbs.
• Public speaking ability preferred
