Company in the Walnut, CA area has immediate openings for a Sit-Down Forklift Operator.   

Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator - (Propane) 

Location: Walnut, California  Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm - Hours may change  Pay Rate: $19.00 

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing/logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent forklift experience, a solid understanding of safety procedures, and a strong background in warehouse or production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down propane or electric forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products

• Safely transport materials throughout the facility according to production and shipping schedules

• Perform routine forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues

• Assist with inventory control, including tracking and labeling materials

• Load and unload trucks and trailers using proper procedures

• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing or logistics setting

• Valid forklift certification (preferred or required based on client)

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus 

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling
• Order Picker and Turret experience would be a plus
