Helpmates is seeking a Production Control Planner for a company located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background within the Aerospace & Manufacturing industry. Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00/hour.  Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Location: Santa Fe Springs Duration: Temp-to-hire Job duties:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and capacity plans.
• Coordinate material orders, releases, and adjustments using ERP systems.
• Ensure alignment with contract specifications including batch sizes, lead times, and capacity requirements.
• Monitor the status of released jobs, including tooling and experimental work.
• Update production charts and job status reports.
• Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to resolve scheduling delays or disruptions.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm delivery timelines and expedite materials when necessary.
• Manage priority lists and milestone tracking for delayed or critical customer orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and proactively adjust schedules as needed.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance with performance and delivery requirements.
• Provide regular order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain MRP parameters such as lot sizes, minimum quantities, and safety stock.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment (aerospace industry preferred).
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

• Higher education (associate’s or bachelor’s degree) preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

• Forklift Certification
