Helpmates is looking for a Level 2 Non-Destructive Inspector to check manufactured parts for defects using specialized tools and techniques. This role requires following specific customer and industry rules, procedures, and standards.

• Follow NAS410 guidelines for inspection certification
• Perform Level 2 inspection tasks as allowed by NAS410
• Clean and prepare parts for penetrant testing
• Clean finished parts to avoid contamination or rust
• Keep process records and logs up to date
• Record parts that pass or fail inspection
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and related files
• Write inspection techniques and procedures
• Conduct NDT audits as required
• Support the department’s continuous improvement efforts in daily work 
• Establish and maintain good standards of communication and relations with other departments,
• such as Manufacturing and Engineering amongst others.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

• 1–2 years of NDT Level 2 inspection experience in aerospace or manufacturing
• Hands-on familiarity with ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, or magnetic particle inspection methods

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
• NAS-410 Level 2 knowledge required
