Helpmates is seeking a safety-conscious Band / Cold Saw Operator to join a growing team in the machining and metal fabrication industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for accurately cutting raw metal materials using band saws or cold saws in preparation for production. Training can be provided! However, prior experience in machining, metal cutting, or manufacturing environments is a plus and may qualify you for a higher starting rate.

Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30pm

Job Duties: 

• Operate band saw or cold saw machines to cut metal to specified dimensions
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Work closely with team leads and supervisors to meet production goals

Experience:

• Relevant experience preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.

Education:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent, Trade School is a plus.
• Certification in machining, or a related field is preferred.
