Location: Los Angeles, CA Position Type: Temporary Assignment (Temp-to-Hire Potential) Pay Rate: $31.00 – $35.00/hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Job Summary:We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment with potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will bring a strong generalist background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
Essential Functions: Recruitment and HiringRecruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to determine required skills and competencies.
Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
Plan and conduct onboarding in collaboration with hiring managers.
Foster connection and support through weekly/monthly check-ins.
Assist in the coordination of in-person and virtual training sessions.
Maintain employee records and data in HR systems (HRIS).
Generate reports and analyze trends to support decision-making.
Handle administrative HR tasks, including assistance with payroll processing.
Address employee concerns and lead internal investigations.
Support disciplinary actions and provide HR-related guidance to staff.
Assist in performance review processes, feedback collection, and goal setting.
Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal company policies.
Support the development and training of new policies and procedures.
Assist employees with benefit programs and leave of absence (LOA) processes, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
At least 5 years of HR generalist or management experience required.
Advanced degree or formal training in HR management preferred.
Experience with Paycom is a plus.
