Location: Los Angeles, CA Position Type: Temporary Assignment (Temp-to-Hire Potential) Pay Rate: $31.00 – $35.00/hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment with potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will bring a strong generalist background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.

Essential Functions: Recruitment and Hiring
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine required skills and competencies.

  • Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.

Onboarding and Training
  • Plan and conduct onboarding in collaboration with hiring managers.

  • Foster connection and support through weekly/monthly check-ins.

  • Assist in the coordination of in-person and virtual training sessions.

HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records and data in HR systems (HRIS).

  • Generate reports and analyze trends to support decision-making.

  • Handle administrative HR tasks, including assistance with payroll processing.

Employee Relations
  • Address employee concerns and lead internal investigations.

  • Support disciplinary actions and provide HR-related guidance to staff.

Performance Management
  • Assist in performance review processes, feedback collection, and goal setting.

Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal company policies.

  • Support the development and training of new policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration
  • Assist employees with benefit programs and leave of absence (LOA) processes, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Special Projects
  • Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources.

Qualifications: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • At least 5 years of HR generalist or management experience required.

  • Advanced degree or formal training in HR management preferred.

  • Experience with Paycom is a plus.
